Creative Inspirations DT & Totally Tilda Mid Week Reminder

How convenient to 'kill two birds with one stone'.
This is my DT card for Creative Inspirations, where for the next two weeks we want to see your shapes. Create something other than square or rectangle.

So put on your thinking caps and come along & join the fun!

This is also my Mid Week Reminder for the Totally Tilda Challenge of Lilac & Lace!

Naturally, I've used a Tilda Stamp in order to get my creation completed. Isn't she pirdy?????
I have used a Die Cut Shape from Mrs. Susie Sugar's Die Cut Dreams Store.
To be honest I was on the fence about ordering these shapes, as I figured I could "make due" by myself. Then I realized I was not that creative AT ALL, so opted to order some shapes from Mrs. Sugar & let me tell you...........these shapes are FANTASTIC. They are so solid & sturdy, it even surprised me. The cardstock is Fabulously thick in a variety of colors & shapes.
I am in love (sorry DH.....I've cheated on you!).

I used a SU stamp set  called "Delight in life" to set the background on the white cardstock overlay.
The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts as is the center to my flower in the corner. I had just recieved my Wild Orchid order the day I made this card, so I was SUPER EXCITED to get to them!!
Butterfly was a gift from a friend.
Oh I amost forgot I used a bit of flower soft in Tilda's hat.

So pls let me explain the picture below. When I first posted this on the DT blog at Totally Tilda, some of the DT members thought my card instantly fell apart, when in actuality, I have a brad behind the flower in the corner that allows for the card to open by sliding over the top white cardstock.
VOILA.
You can now write on the inside.

Pls come join in the fun at Creative Inspirations for the next two weeks  where we are being sponsored by Fantastic Ribbons ( bag of buttons to the winner)
 and
Totally Tilda where the sponsor is BunnyZoes Store for the next week.

Challenges for my card:
OSSAT- butterlies, blooms & bling
Craft your Days away- girly & glitter
Tuesday Throwdown- creative ribbon
Paper Sundaes- 2 diff color mediums (copics, watercolor pencils & stamp ink)

Such a beautiful card Cor, I love what you have done to let the card open. Thank you for your lovely comment in my blog, I keep being asked to do tutorials on my flowers so I had better pull my socks up and try and find a way to do it. I will give you a heads up when I do, they are reasonably simple to do.
