I thought I'd get in on the fun and play as a GDT from the CSD DT with these little angels! Aren't they cute. My kraft is the base of the tags as well as the bases of the tickets. 

Rosey is on the tag laying down & Rosey fun time is the red haired girl in the back. 

Tai is my dark skinned girl! 

 The DP are from Micheals and they come in the shape of the tag, I free cut the Kraft behind it. 

All the ticket sentiments are also from Crafty Sentiments Designs. 

Ribbons are a mix of Really Reasonable Ribbons & The Ribbon Carousel!

Happy Birthday to my daughter, Happy Birthday to my daughter! 

My daughter Hannah turned 11 yrs old yesterday, April 9! 

Wow.....11 yrs have passed. I have watched my baby grow and grow and grow and now she is almost as tall as me. She has taken over my ice skates and my spring jacket. She is not physically my baby anymore, but she will always be my baby in my heart! 

We went to the big city on April 7 to celebrate her 'party'. She took a friend. ONE friend. And I carted them to go shopping, swimming and to a movie! 

They had a blast!

Today brings us a new challenge at  Crafty Sentiments Designs Monthly Challenge Blog!
Our theme this month is very appropriate for the season being 

SPRING

I've used one of the new releases from the Crafty Sentiments Designs Store called My Best Friend. In fact, I think he is available for purchase TODAY along with all the other new releases! 

Colored with copics. 

I used my Whimsy flag die and mini postage stamp die; 

as well as some of my block letters and puppy dog ribbon!

Funny story about this little fella, I colored this stamp while in the backseat of my van after it broke down on the side of a Major Highway last week ! Grrr....there I was driving along when all of a sudden the  van started to slow down despite me pressing on the gas, then it started to buck.....I had just enough steering left to get me to the side of the road before it went KAPUTS! 

So I called CAA, didn't know exactly where I was, so I pulled out the binoculars (yes we have binoculars in our van) and read the big green sign ahead of me, that said "Elie. Ste. Agathe"......PHEW.....a landmark! 

Then I realized the battery on my phone was dying, so I went to plug it into my laptop, and low and behold my laptop battery had 5% life left!! ACK!! 

NOTE TO SELF: charge phone and laptop before taking on a 4 hr ride! 

So I climbed into the back seat of my now freezing van and got out my copics! 

HOW FUN!

Today I am  showing you Butterflies and Flowers. 

Oh I had fun with this one. Using some of my swirly dies and putting her on a scallop shape! And yes, putting pearls on her polka-dotted top!! EEK! CUTE! and my wee butterfly punch got put to use again! 

For my ribbons I combined a brown satin and blue wrinkled....to create this layered effect!

Feels so good to put a smile on a childs face! ;-)

This little sweetheart stamp is Shepard Annabel! 

I have colored her with copics and Pinked her to the max, with some pink leaves from Really Reasonable Ribbons, pink papers & cardstock courtesy of Micheals and a couple pink flowers. The one with the gem center is actually recycled off a card from a friend. 

Oh and I added some WOC lace, a wee flower  charm and some liquid pearls in yup, you guess it ....PINK! 

Oh, let's not forget about that glitter!

Crafty Sentiments Designs Monthly Challenge Kicks Off with some LOVE!

Hello Crafty fans! I'm here today to present you with my first creation as part of the  Crafty Sentiments Designs Monthly Challenge Blog DT member! How exciting!! We've got a new team providing some inspiration and fun for the all new MONTHLY CHALLENGES! 

This month the theme is : 

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

If you haven't checked out the Crafty Sentiments Designs Store lately, you MUST head over !! OMGOSH there are some cuite patooties in there! Like this little stamp. It is called Gypsy Heart. 

I just could not resist making my daughter a valentines collection bag to hang on her desk at school on Valentines day! 

I used my Cheery Lynn Designs Heart die and lots of heart covered papers! Some blingy pearls and gems add to the look. Also a Tim Holtz Vintage Key is added there, perhaps to open up the treasure box that this little Gypsy is sitting on! 

I colored her completely with copics! I LOVE how she turned out.
