Hello 2011 !!! Stamping Vacation PICK 3 Challenge

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Here we are in 2011!!

Me & hubby just had enough time to catch a kiss at midnight before he was called to work (He's a self employed tow truck driver, so new years is a busy nite, that's for sure)....

o well.......we got to snuggle when he got home....

before he was called out again!

(On the bright side, I DO get the bed to myself!lol)

At Stamping Vacation for the month of January we have a new sponsor (which is Stamps of Life)

........ & a new

PICK 3 Challenge.

Pick 3? What?

Well you want to pick three items from the list below & create something with them.

Here's your list:

gathered ribbon

white background

buttons

chipboard

a flourish

red paper

thread or floss

punch

glitter

I have chosen red paper, punch & glitter.

Stamps of Life supplied each of the DT members their choice of stamp set and I chose the "getwell2you" set, as I find I don't have nearly enough of these types of cards.

I went for a 'cheery' type look.

Does it lift your spirits?

I used my new paper pack & my new butterfly die cut that I purchased in the states at Hobby Lobby on Black Friday weekend. Also new to this card is the little blue flower in the top right corner & center adornments of my flowers............all of which are also from the same shopping spree.

I glittered up my image, papers & butterfly & added dew drops to the scallop nestie shape!

Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbons & speaking of which, they are having a huge giveaway at their blog HERE....this is their prize!
