I also embossed my blue paper with the swirls embossing folder then sanded it for a distressed look.
I added liquid applique to Tilda's hat and sleeves, then sprinkled it with glitter & let it dry naturally.
Sentiment is from SU!

For the next two weeks at Prairie Fairy Fun Friday we want you to:
MAKE YOUR OWN FLOWERS
There are plenty of tutorial for this out there. Like this one. Or this one. Or numerous other ones on Splitcoaststampers !
I used the image from Prairie Fairy Designs, called Sugar Fairy.
I used the Fan Fold tutorial from Splitcoaststampers.
I added brads to the center of my flowers & to the bigger flower I added a crocheted flower from CTMH. I sponged it with a little bit of orange & yellow color.
All of the paper is S.E.I. Moonrise collection. I love the bling that it provides.
Sketch is Card Patterns.
In the picture below I tried to get a good shot of the crystal effects I added to the coffee/tea within the cup.
We hope to see you at Fairy Fun Friday this week for our challenge. If you can't participate, at least come give the DT a little bit of love.....we've been making flowers 'out the ying-yang'!!
Challenges for my card:

ALSO- there will be 3 new Gretchens released every week this month!! You don't wanna miss them!
Let's get started shall we. At the Digi's With Attitude! challenge this week we want to see:
A WESTERN THEME.
Get out those horses, cowboy boots, cowboy hats & start line dancin' over to this challenge for a chance to win some My Grafico papers as well as a $10.00 gift cert to the Digi's With Attitude! Store.
The lace trim I got at our local fabric shop that is closing down. I asked the person I was with if I should buy it......(bags & bags of it- different colors, styles, designs) & she said "if you plan on putting curtains on your cards. Lots of curtains." We both laughed after I told her to 'shut up'.
So I bought it (well a couple bags anyways) and thought it would add a little feminity to my rough & tumble, sexy, saucy 'Grumpy Gretchen Cowgirl'.
Oxymoron much?
By the way, the sentiment is from the Digi's With Attitude! store as well.
The flowers are WOC.
Now let's see your interpretation of Western!!
Remember it does not have to be a Digi's With Attitude! image, but we would love if you used them!
Challengs for my card:
Incy Wincy- anything goes
Lexi's Creations- anything goes
Aly's Sunday Challenge- distressed
Paper Players- anything goes

Now, you can't go wrong with good ol' Edwin!
Just when I thought I was done with Halloween cards, I come up with this doozey to match a few last minute Halloween challenges!
I didn't know if I would get the chance to use this wonderful Spidey Web ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbons, but low & behold I did! And I love how it looks!
I colored Edwin with watercolor pencils, blending stumps & baby oil & used chalks to make a purple background behind him.
In case you were curious, here are the pumpkins behind Edwins card.
& here they are all lit up!

****************************************************
Do u ever just see a challenge & KNOW you HAVE to get a card in there?!
That's how I felt about ALL the challenges I made this card for!
Once I had the idea, all the challenges combined, drove me to create a Shakin' Tilda card!
You guessed it, a shaker card!
I haven't done one of these for quite some time, I thought I forgot how, in fact thought I lost the dble sided tape needed to make it............phew, then I found it!
I had the images colored a while ago & was waiting for the prime opportunity to work with them!
The first thing that intrigued me was the idea of a white card (with the exception of the image)....I have thought of trying this before, but never quite knew where to begin & with the help of DT inspirations I was able to pull something together.
My second intrigue came from the shaker card idea!! So cool!
This pictures shows the glitter shaken around.
I think I added too much glitter.
Ah............live & learn!
And you can't beat all the Christmas Challenges around lately !
I am also posting this card at my 'alter-ego-sister-site' Steel Magnolias (where there is candy up for grabs BTW) so all the challenges for my card can be found between the two sites.
Thanks for stopping by today!

This is my Pick 3 DT card for the Stamping Vacation Blog.
This Pick 3 Challenge runs for the whole month, so you may want to have a go at it.
The name of the game is to pick 3 items from the following list and make a creation with them .
Pick any 3 items you want and make a card, layout, tag, altered item or ATC and pop it into the Pick 3 Challenge at Stamping Vacation for a chance at some great prizes!
For the month of November we have MARK'S FINEST PAPERS as our sponsor. They will be giving away 4 of the December Sneak Peek stamp sets and there will be a $25.00 gift certificate to their store as well! The winner will be raondomly chosen on December 1st! We will be showcasing their stamps throughout the month.
Here's the PICK 3 list:
words of a holiday song
orange ribbon
any button
tag
green paper
anything with a feather
an image that starts with a "t"
popdot
corner punch
I have chosen an image from CardMad Fairy Creations called Spring Tree.
I embossed the green paper with leaves & added stickers to spell the work AUTUMN.
I then decoupaged some of the leaves from a second printed tree image.
Yup I used pop dots to give it that 3D look.
My pick 3.................well Pick 4 actually is: green paper, tree image, buttons & pop dots.
I sure hope you can hop over to the Stamping Vacation blog to check out all the different challenges, listed on the left hand side of the blog.

Onto my creation for today.
At Crafty Cardmakers for the next two weeks we want to see your:
STITCHING -real or faux
This is my inspiration to you: A hAnglar stAnglar!
I don't make enough boy cards. So I decided to start making more & I even used some stitching on it. My hubby's sewing machine (yes I said hubby's- it's seriously his, but I have taken it over) does all these different sewing designs (& letters & such) so I added a fancy little 'X' design along both sides, with a straight sewn line down the other 2 sides.
Image is a hAnglar-stAnglar & I love them because they have little faux stitching marks all over their clothes (click image for larger/closer view).
I also am in love with this image, as it reminds me of my son who taught himself how to ride his bike (he's 3). He's still my little monkey, thus the monkey clip on top.
I used my long lost chalks to create a faux sky & faux road by using a Q-tip to spread the chalk around. I also freehand faux stitched around the sentiment.

All papers are BG. I used my nestie to die cut the shape around my little man & I used my SU tag punch X2 to fit my sticker sentiment.
More shapes on the inside as you can see here.
Sketch is Midnight Madness - fancy one.
DON"T FORGET- At Crafty Cardmakers we also have our spotlight challenge still on for another week. The spotlight is DIGI-PLUS--where you need to do more than just print & color your image. You need to merge your images, make your own paper, make jewelry with your images and so forth....so why not combine this stitching challenge with our spotlight challenge and get your hands in both of the pots!!!
Other Challenges for my card:
Lovely hAnglar Only- punched out
Cards for men- anything goes
Crafty Sentiments- make a male project
Simon Says- Punch em
A Spoon Full of Sugar- let's get punchy
Paper Sundaes- for the boys
The Crafty Pad- stitching real or faux
