Anything Goes at Midweek Magnolias

HELLO and WELCOME to another week here at the MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS  Challenge!!! 

Yup, you guessed it, I'm late!! But not by much!! 

But oh it is soooooooooooo worth the wait! LOL

Because not only do we have a theme that makes everyone happy, but I also used a couple of my newest stamps.....and that makes ME happy!! 

It's ANYTHING GOES week here at the Midweek Magnolia challenge!! 

ANYTHING AT ALL. 

Make it big, make is small...make it shimmer, make it tall!?>!! (I just made that up, pretty good hey). 

Colored with copics from my fave online store Oozak,com, this little Pearl Tilda & Oyster with Pearl are also from Oozak!!!! I added some seashell type buttons from my stash and some of my favorite flowers from I am Roses.  And of course, can't forget the cheesecloth and Magnolia papers!

For my card, I have chosen to use a cute little WOJ rubber stamp that was given to me by a wonderful friend, for my birthday. 

I had to pair him with some clouds of course & flags, why not!! The sentiment stickers are from my scrapbooking stash. If you hadn't guessed, my fave embellishment is ribbon. Followed by everything else that can fill up a card.

I also want to say a big thank you to Suzanne for having me on the LIIU team. It is time for me to step down and this is my final month with them!

Bling It On at Midweek Magnolias

Hello. Long time no see, my fellow bloggers.
 I do apologize for being an absent blogger lately but my Scentsy business has totally taken off !!
 I have been doing trade shows with Velata (chocolate fondue- a new line Scentsy has come out with.....) as well as home parties, basket parties & fundraising events with Scentsy!!
 I just finished a VERY SUCCESSFUL fundraiser for my sons preschool class with Scentsy. Happy customers, happy parents, happy teachers and a very happy consultant (that 's me) to hand over a nice cheque to them!! Gosh I love this stuff.

In the midst of all of this, I have slightly neglected my MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS  Challenge blog duties, therefore I am posting this creation a bit late! 

Our challenge currently underway is :

ADD SOME BLING!! 

I was so excited when my new stamps & copics from Oozak came in I just had to color her up right away! 

Meet Summer Flower Tilda! Cute right? Now if you clicked on the link back there <--- you will notice that Summer Flower Tilda is facing the opposite way of which I have her on my card. Nope, it is not magic, it is actually the work of the Large Solid Palette Rectangle; which is made of rubber that allows you to stamp & restamp a stamp (have I confused you yet)....thereby giving it a completely different look. 

Very neat. 

I purchased this block from theStampTrap probly 2-3 months ago and this was my first time using it! And it won't be my last. I was introduced to this item from Debbie back in this post of hers.

Chic & Romantic at Midweek Magnolias

Hello MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS  FANS! 

If you have come in search of my Chic & Romantic card, well, you will have to keep lookin'!lol

Unfortunately I don't have a card to share this week, but we do have some very exciting news happening over at the 

MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS  

blog. 

Aside from all the great DT creations, we are also having a 

DT CALL!!

If you can fit yourself into each and every one of these categories (listed below) then we want YOU!!

Right then, we are looking to add some new members to our team so that we can offer lots more inspiration and motivation. Any of the girls will agree that we are the friendliest team in blogland and we have a great rapport. We don't believe in getting stressed over anything to do with blog challenges, we support one another all the way, and we have great respect for everyone who joins in our themes. Backstage we like to organise swappies etc... amongst ourselves and we do share a giggle or two - mainly about life in general!

If you think you would like to join our merry little band for the next 3 months you will be someone who can put ticks in the following boxes:

• I am a great team player with a good sense of humour
• I can create a brand new project each week based on existing themes using Magnolia Stamps, Papers, Die Cuts, Flowers, etc. and post sample onto the main blog by no later than Tuesday evening (GMT), and post to my own blog to show on Wednesday am (GMT)
• I can take fairly decent photographs of my work to showcase my projects in a way that will inspire others to want to join in with our weekly challenges or try something new for themselves
• I have an active blog which I update on a regular basis
• I am happy to leave sincere comments on players blogs having been allocated numbers to ensure all players get some appreciation from the Midweek Magnolia team (we don't mind if you are on other DT's, even other Magnolia DT's, but where a crossover occurs, we would expect you to leave a comment on behalf of Midweek Magnolias as well as the other team(s) that you are a member of)
• I am happy to take responsibility of selecting the Top 3 (this may be changed to more if numbers of players continue to increase) on a rotational basis

Big White Space at Midweek Magnolias

Welcome! 

Wow. It's been a long time since I've sat at my craft table with the way my Scentsy business has taken off..I've been busy doing trade shows, home parties, fundraising events, packaging up orders....shipping off orders....adding new members to my team! It's been great so far! I'm so lucky to have found Scentsy. If you are interested in knowing more about Scentsy just HOP over HERE to see what it's all about. That's my Scentsy blog.

This little creation was made a couple weeks ago in preparation for our  MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS  challenge this week which is

I've used  a couple different wee pieces of DP behind my Tilda and my hearts embossing folder to match the hearts that she's holding. I stamped my sentiment right on my embossed cardstock. The sentiment is from Some Odd Girl!

Monotone at Midweek Magnolias

AAAHHH!! I love that we are getting so many entries at the MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS Challenge! Keep it comin' crafters! spread the love!!

MONOTONE/MONOCHROME

Whatever you want to call it. Just as long as it's shades of one color.

I went for the black and white monotone feel. With my very favorite man EVA!! 

EDWIN!! 

For the design on the black background paper I used one of my SU stamp sets with versamark ink and clear embossing powder. WOW...I haven't embossed in foreva!!!! 

The sentiment wee hand stamp are form Tickled Pink Stamps. Feathers are from Dollarama!

SCENTSY ANYONE!?>!

Hello Everyone! 

Here in Canada, Mother's Day is May 13, 2012.....

......and we had a local Mother's Day Spa in the small town of Pine Falls, where I live.

 Local artists and vendors are displaying their tables  full of goodies &  I was there

 with my Scentsy Table! 

It was so fun!!

My daughter, Hannah, was my sidekick at the trade fair! She did a great job!  !

AND HERE ARE PICS OF MY SET UP!

What cute stuffed animals with little scent packs tucked in their backs! 

They smell awesome! 

Look at all these beautiful warmers! 

And below is my plug in display box..........isn't it just FABBY!! 

Yup, those are little night light Scentsy warmers that plug directly into the sockets! 

My kitchen smells like cafe for 4 days with one little wax scent cube in it! 

I LOVE IT! 

I never have to bake again! LOL

I'm always so excited to introduce more people to Scentsy.
It makes me happy!! 

Scentsy is something EVERYONE needs in their lives !!!

May Flowers at Midweek Magnolias

Me.............I was on the fence until I got my ginormous shipment of I AM ROSES flowers in the mail!

The oval behind Tilda & the heart in the corner are from Dora, as are the white leaves (as a RAK), which I still love to pieces and will be buying this die one day real soon!! LOL 

The paper behind the oval is actually a fabricy feely paper with some stitching on it! OMGOSH i bought this when I first started scrapbooking AGES ago!! WOW! I almost forgot about it! 

Let's see i've got some lace, some ribbon, some sprigs, some sparkle....and the sentiment....that's from SU!

CLP May Sketch

Guess what today is! Today is the day for my first post for the CLP Sketch challenges. 

I am so honored & humbled to be amungst such talented ladies!

The Sketch this month, goes something like this! 

To celebrate, I have candy at the top of my blog for anyone who is interested! 

When I first saw this Tilda in the Prince & Princesses Collection, I knew I had to have her! 

This is Princess Party Tilda.......I adore her and her lil stance! 

I colored her with copics and painted up around her with crackle paint, as well as the edges of the distressed papers. Bigger flowers are from I Am Roses! I am addicted to I Am Roses! LOL I also used some WOC flowers and my MS leaf punch. Then there's my MS butterfly punch for the wee ones you see here!

It's time for another great sketch from the Sketchy Challenges girls!! 

Before we get to the sketch, I just wanted to let you know this is my last sketch as a sketchy girl! I KNOW I KNOW! You heard that before right! But for real. I am having such amazing support for my new home based business, Scentsy, that I barely have time to sleep lately!
