I was so excited to take part in the Some Odd Girl (SOG) Digi Day celebrations that were happening at SNR/PCP sites yesterday!! I wasn't actually home for most of it, but the awesome part is that Digi-Day challenges aren't actually due until the next day, so I got a chance to play with more of Kristy's fabulous images.

Aside from the extended deadline for the challenges on Digi-Day, there are also other games, occassional freebies, chit chat sessions, points to be earned for SOG store purchases & discounts to the SOG Store.
I was lucky enough to snag one of those discount codes. Phew!! I got me some more images..........I just love them. They are so cute & different (in a good way) than other images I've used.

So let's begin.
One of the challenges on Digi-Day (which happens once a month) was to make a holiday card without a holiday sentiment. I used my newly purchased "Big Pressie Tia" to make this card. Isn't she cute & so small next to that big, ginormous present! I used BG papers & 'wrapping ribbon' (feels like paper) to make the ginormous bow near the bottom. The sentiment tag is from Sentiments 4 You.

Another challenge yesteday was to make a masculine card.
Here I used my "Hip Kody" to make a card for my son. Actually, from one son to the other was what I had in mind as this little dandy came together. Again BG papers, some blue raffia ribbon on the top and some suede strips for the other ribbon accents. The charm sentiment says it all. A few buttons in the corners and Voila! My masculine creation.
Both cards I colored their faces with copics and the rest of them with watercolor pencils, baby oil and blending stumps!
Hopefully I am able to get in on the next Digi Day in December! And you should to.....
Challenges for my masculine card-
Friday Sketchers- sketch
Paper Sundaes- blue & ribbon
Sentimental Sundays- childhood
Simon Says- card for a man (add a charm)
Pixie Dust Studio Challenge- all about boys/men
Challenge up your life- blue & green
Enjoy the rest of your wknd!!!
