Yet another page in my Paper Bag Mini Album (which I will displaying in FULL at the end of these new release previews) .The picture above is of the 2 pages I did side by side. Don't pay any attention to the ruler in the picture, that was just my way of holding open the pages! heehee

So here I placed a little journalling sheet tucked into one of the paper bag folds. I chose the papers as green & pink to match Christina's green skin & pink glasses. Right! A Mummie needs to see too!

VA-CA pics & a card JFF!??!!!? Wow!

Before we get too 'in depth' with my card today, I must show you what fun we......YES WE had at Tinkertown last week. Tinkertown is a playland for kiddos, of all ages. All sorts of rides & games and concessions stands.....it has something for everyone. I have not been to Tinkertown for soooooooooo long, I thought that it was aimed at little wee kids, but NOPE, they had some pretty scary rides there for older kids too, which is where my daughter & her cousin ran off to, whilst me, dad and da boys, played around the younger sections!

First ride.......helicopters. Yup that's me squeezing in there with my kids. It goes round and round  and you pull on the black bar to make it go up and down. VERY COOL!

Here's Reade, my 3 yr old, driving his car down the pulley-system roadway! He really liked this one.

Then we all went for a train ride around the perimeter of the park. It was a nice cool ride for such a hot day!

Oh yes, and how could we forget the boat ride. Neither kids wanted to get off this one, which led to.....you guessed it.....a screaming match, after the 3rd ride was done!

And the carousel ride. Reade doing one of his famous poses & below is Merik; basically he's trying to figure out what the heck this thing is! haha!

oooo......there you see my daughter, Hannah & her cousin, finally at the end of the day. See Reades' face.....lol....yup that's the reaction after this coin operated ride ended & it was time to go.

Somebody please tell me it gets easier when he turns  4 !! lol

I still have pictures of Fun Mountain to show you.,...... but we'll save that for another day.

Lets look at my card for the day shall we?!

Since I've been home for a couple days before we head out again, next week for more vacationing, I thought I'd let a couple of challenges in blogland inspire me!

At MDU they have a fabulous sketch I couldn't wait to sink my ink into! (see below), at Addicted to Stamps the theme is anything goes, at Make it Colorful the theme is to colour with pink, & Just Magnolia has an anything goes theme with optional glitter (I got tons of that on here).

The doily, clear water pearls, seam binding & pins are from a truly inspirational blogger Chelsea; who sent me a mini candy package from when she had her last candy draw! Yay Me! The chipboard Tim Holtz Birdcage is off of eBay....I sponged it with pink SU ink & touched it with tattered rose crackle paint, same with the wings on either side of it! Pink ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbons & feathers are from Dollarama. The paper is MME. I added glitter to whatever I could.

 I'd also like to enter this card into some other challenges: namely....Cupcake Inspiration challenge- photo inspire (see below) , Dream Valley- distressing, City Crafter for Home Sweet Home ,  & Outlawz- Paper A La Mode Challenge of sparkle.

I'm off to pack the camper again for more hols tomorrow until Friday! YAY!

SPINKS & SPOOKS- Lil Haunts 2 at the TPS Blog!

Hello all!

Have you missed me!?!?

I see that my scheduled posts have gone off without a hitch.....phew *sigh of relief*........hubby only let me use the internet for a few mins a night, so as not to ruin the family vaca! (blah, blah- haha)

We did not make it to the ZOO yesterday....(boo, I know), but boy did we have fun anyways. I'll share a few pics as the next few days progress.

LOL ! Isn't she nasty! I LOVE IT!! HHAAaahhaa!

WELCOME TO DAY 5 (the last day) of the SOG new releases!

  I think I am still in complete & utter shock that I am on the SOG team for this term! Sometimes I just need to pinch myself to make sure it's real. *pinch* (OUCH!! CRAP MAN that hurt). K, yup it's REAL!!   Myself & the rest of the team have been introduced to you over at the Some Odd Girl  (Challenge blog)  during the course of these new releases. You really must check out this blog!! Making cards for sick kids in hospital! What a wondrful idea! (not get well or sorry your sick type cards, though)).  I am sooooooooooooo gonnna send some cards their way! Who wouldn't like to see a happy smily "rock On" card while you sit in your hospital bed! Tickled with a Feather & some WORDZ

YAHOO!! I'm on holidays. 14 days off from work.
Whilst you read this I am probly sliding down the waterslides with my kids at a nearby waterpark! YIPPEE!! We are also staying at the campground right next door. This is the first time we will be attempting to stay in our camper since my youngest was a babe, where a bassinett fit comfortably between the driver seat & passenger seat. He's too big for that now, so .........this should def. be fun/interesting!! lol

Onto my card.....it's that time of the week again...............it's another Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge & we have another awesome theme! We want to see you

USE A FEATHER!

I must admit, I don't use feathers as much as I should or could. I always forget about them, & I shouldn't cuz they add so much 'loveliness'  & texture to creations! I used Lil Fashionette 60's Willow. I enlarged her so I could use her head shot as the focus!  Papers I used are My Mind's Eye & heart nestie is a Cherry Lynn Design that I got from Bizzy Becs....I was so excited to finally use it after waiting FOREVA for it to arrive due to our postal strike!! The flower & feathers are from my fave store....Dollarama! lol

The sentiment is from JUST WORDZ that I stamped with Bravo Burgundy Ink from SU then punched out with my SU tag punch. I added a bit of sponging & glitter to make it shine!

I am super happy with the way this card came together, however once I had this creation completed I realized that I totally cased another Tickled Pink member, Debbie, who's creation can be found here. Great minds think alike hey ! Woops!

Ever since I found Kristy's images, I knew I wanted to be on her team!

I have dreamt about it! Literally, dreamt of these cute images!

After writing in one of my posts (a while back) about wanting to pursue teams that truly inspire me..............when the opportunity to be "ODD" presented itself, I jumped all over it like 'white on rice'.  LOL!!! I sent my info & here I am!
Now, getting to be ODD this term has meant that I had to make some sacrifices & therefore I am saddened to say that I am no longer part of the Totally Tilda team. Don't get me wrong, Tildas/Magnolias still DO inspire me, I just wanted to try my hand at a 'new'.
I love my Tilda Girlz & wish them all the best of luck!

Now onto my creation(s) for today! SOME ODD GIRL creations that is!! (*jumps for joy*)
Kristy has come up with some awesome, amazing, suh-weet images for us to start this term & over at the Some Odd Girl  (Challenge blog)  we are doing daily presentations/sneak peeks of this new line along with DT introductions. You don't want to miss it, cuz there's always that little extra GIVEAWAY for all who leave comments!

 WELCOME TO DAY 2 of the new releases!  Today I am presenting you with Bookbag Tobie. How cute is he right?! He is soooooooooooooo my son, who's only 3, but still......this is sooooooooo him when he starts kindergarten! I decided to make a corner book mark, for purely selfish reasons......I needed one for a book I'm reading- conincidentally enough, about disciplining your toddler properly!  LOLI used papers from a school paper pack I bought a couple months back & abc, 123 stickers are my scrapbooking stash. The apple is a creation from my cricut machine that I then dry embossed!   
 
 My next creation for you to drool over is Bookish Tia! And she is soooooooooooooooooo my daughter, thus I could not pass up the opportunity to put BOTH of these glorious children on a card together ! My interpretation is that my daughter has got her little brother carrying her books. The sentiment "O b-r-other" are wee blocks from mine & my daughters' stash. I purposefully dropped the 'r' down so it can either read "O brother" or "O bother" (which a younger brother can be-haha).

Hello Tickled Pink Fans..............it's time for another Tickled Pink Monthly Christmas Challenge !! For the month of August, we want to see your Christmas Creations with some

I know, I know....uh! Right!? Well it truly is not that bad at all. I did a bit of both on my card. The trees at the bottom are from my scrapbooking stash that I ran thru my cuttle bug with the swirls folder (I think that's the name of it). The sentiment is from SU that I heat embossed with candy cane embossing powder. It actually smells like candy canes! Probly not until Christmas but hey......cool nonetheless right.
