Complete blog hop-coookie crumb trail is listed below.

Here is my creation:

Bearing in mind the theme over at Prairie Fairy Fridays (use a twig) & the united hop with the Paper Temptress, all the papers I used for my card are from the Paper Temptress collection. None are DP, rather they are accented papers with shimmer, gloss, texture, shine & so forth & so on!

Scroll down for a secret about my fairies wings!
The image is called "Little Helper" from Prairie Fairy Designs. I'm tellin' ya, I literally dreamt of how this card would come together. I thought about it & thought about it & whilst doing dishes or making lunch or cleaning the yard, I would occassionaly have an epiphany of how it would look better "this way or that".
How will it look if the fairy was not holding the blue birds? I tried it, it didn't work.
Hmmmm how am I going to make it so that when the easle card comes together, there is not empty space?
How am I gonna prop up the underlying birds?
Where was I gonna put the nest?
All these thoughts nearly drove me nutty........

Below is the result of all the above questions. The birds that the fairy is holding slides JUST overtop of the second set of birds that are propped up. The birds underneath are for effect, so it doesn't look bare.

Above - side view of easle card
Below- front view of how it comes together

And a close up of my nest with all the twigs I incorporated so as to meet the theme at Prairie Fairy Fridays. The twigs are held on with Crystal Effects, which also gives the nest a 'dewy' appearance.

My fairies wings are using the Paper Temptress paper which I put through my printer & then embossed!
 YES EMBOSS!
The ink from the printer stayed moist long enough for me to spinkle some silver embossing powder on & then heat up! Notice the ever so slight swirl design on the shimmery white wings!!
(As well you can see the pink paper underneath has a little shine as well.)

I then paper pieced the fairy's wings onto my already colored image.

Here we have some homemade flowers I was able to cook up thanks to a tutorial put on by Karen over at Die Cut Dreams Challenge blog.
My flowers did not turn out as nice as hers, but hey not bad for a first timer!!
The paper for these flowers & leaves are also from the Paper Temptress collection, as is the background brown textured paper I used for the top and base of the card.

Finally my embossed sentiment accented with a button!

Normally I do not take so many pictures, but felt the need to show all the aspects of my card, for which I am able to enter numerous challenges (see below).

Now LET'S HOP along the crumb trail!!!
