(Friendly reminder- Stamping Vacation blog hop on Sept 25th & 26th- LOTS of prizes to be won)
It's been two weeks!!! It's time for another challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays.
We want to see your
EMBOSSING TECHNIQUES
*wet or dry*
bring it on!!!
Eva since I saw the new Lewis & Gillian images that the Fairy Queen came up with, I have wanted to make something with them! And here's my chance!
I have used the image 'Count DracLewis' from Prairie Fairy Designs.
Isn't he the cutest thing you have ever seen!
I was also dying to use some of my Halloween papers and embellies.
I dry embossed the green paper on the bottom of the card thru my cuttlebug.
I heat embossed the death out of the image in order to get the 'cracked glass' look, which is now my new fav. technique to use & because of that, I now need more clear embossing powder.
There are You Tube videos and Splitcoaststamper techniques on how to do this, but let me make it simple for you.
1. make sure you color your image & do any necessary sponging & stamping prior to
2. versamark(ing) your image up & then
3. add clear embossing powder and
4. heat it up and
5. repeat steps 2 thru 4 about 6-8 times and then
6. place the heat embossed image in the freezer for about 2-3 minutes
7. take it out & crack it accordingly.......depending on where you want your cracked glass to appear.
DONE!!!
