The one I forgot about.

OMG.....I am on day 3 of feeling almost human again after the dreaded STREP THROAT infection reared it's ugly head. After having a major setback with being put on the wrong meds in the first place, it took me even longer to get over it! I seriously thought I was going to die!! I never cried so much in all my life. My kids were afraid to come near me, for fear of me breaking down into a puddle of weepy mush!
Thank gawd for my DH who helped me out so much, as well as for the wonderful staff at our local hospital who treated me so well when I went in, in tears, begging for something to help me swallow again!
And of course thanks to my BFF, Mrs. Prairie Fairy herself for running over to my rescue as I struggled to make myself homemade soup! Not only did she finish making it for me, but she had her own pot at home brewing me some awesome chicken soup! CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE CRAFTER'S SOUL! I smell a best seller! MWAH! love you heaps!

***********************************

So needless to say, my crafting has been NIL & my blog has been bare lately, but I thought I should make an appearance.
Here's an Edwin card I made for my daughter's guitar lesson instructor.
I had made her a previous one, but she wanted music notes on it, so I made this one instead .
She was super happy.
I watercolored him with reinkers, & popped him up in his chair!
Now he's all set to read all the love letters from the little boys  & girls!

I'm exhausted right now! Amazing what  4 days of fevers will do to a person! Knock you right out!
DH says I have to go to bed, so will look for challenges in the morning!
Take Care!

(PS- this can also be found at my alter ego site- Steel Magnolias- as well)

Corry, you poor thing! It sounds like step really go the best of you. YUCK! I am glad you are feeling somewhat better. Your card is gorgeous, as always. I can't believe you used re-inkers to color the image. That is the first time I am hearing of that technique. Well, I love it. I will have to look into it. Continue to feel better!

Sending you get well hugs,
Stephanie

Oh Cor you poor darlin. I have had the same thing once myself and know how painful it can be. Hopefully it's well on the way to being gone now.

However, on a positive note, it doesn't seem to have affected your creative spark. This card is just gorgeous.
