It is Day 5 for the new releases & today I am showing you Bright Lights Kaylee. She is so cute, I imagine her all strung up in the Christmas Lights, kinda like how I get every year when I try to unravel them! So I made the sentiment out of some previously die cut ornament shapes & wrote my own saying on them.
Dontcha just love my matchy lights paper!!?? And light diecut border on the bottom!!! Shuddup, I know.

Welcome to another inspirational Friday post at JUST WORDZ!! 

If you still aren't sure about these stamps, let me just tell you  that they are fantastic to play with & piece together to make so many great sentiments. Onto my creation for this week, Kim wanted us to make anything we wanted but NOT SQUARE. So you are never going to guess what I made! BWahahha!! 

Yes, a tag! I love me tags! 

I used my trusty Some Odd Girl clear stamp set called Sweet Thinking Mae that comes with a sentiment & frame. Instead of the SOG sentiment I used my JUSTWORDZ. Fun right! Oh how I love browns & with the greens this is almost one of my favorite creations to date!  Jute ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbons.

Because of how much I love how this creation turned out I am placing it into Kristy's Best Project of the Week linky! If you want to learn more about this, please hop over HERE for an explanation! It is not a challenge, it is simply a way to show off one of your fav. creations that YOU made in the past week & a reason to share some love to others who have also shared their favorite!!

It's Winter at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge

Welcome to another week at the Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge. 

This week the "Established" DT are showing off some of their work to a theme of 

WINTER.

For this weeks challenge I have opted to use Lil Christmas Pinkette Faith who is just singing her heart out! I placed her on a book shape from Susie Sugar's Die Cut Dreams Store & of course added all my extras. A music sheet, some snowflakes & wintery brads! The white insert to the book I stamped on with a background stamp I got AGES ago when I was hooked on SU stamps! The words in the bottom corner say it all!

HALLO,  Welcome to all my Some Odd Girl  fans.

For day 4, I have the Winter Mae image to show you!
She is so chilly walking in the wonderland of frosty chipboard flourishes which I colored with  my SU red inkpad & glittered with my prisma glitter. I think this is what one calls a GATE FOLD CARD.

Winter Mae is on a flap that opens up to this SU sentiment. Once closed, this flap is held shut with a magnet!  And the card then opens (see bottom pic) to reveal another layer where a little message can be written. Very complex I know. I think you need a map to navigate this one!

Woot Woot! Welcome Some Odd Girl  fans.
Are you ready for the next fabby digi in this 14 image jam packed release!
Meet Angel Kaylee!
She is soooooooooo versatile & because of that , I am showing you two different ways to use her!
First off I have a butterfly shaped chipboard piece that  I have decorated with some of my newly acquired, but yet to be used Melody papers. With this, I plan on putting together a little decorative wall hanging for my daughters room & because SOMETIMES she's an angel, I thought this would be perfect!
The left side there looks  slightly elevated, because it actually is. I have attached it to the bottom paper just underneath the ribbon. And under the elevated part you can see some words peeking out. These words say "Sweet Daughter" & they are from my JUSTWORDZ  stamp set!
Of course I had to add all my extras. Some Whimsy postage stamps, some pearls, feathers, a butterfly charm & glitter to her wings, just to name a few!

I have also made a Christmas Tag with Angel Kaylee as this is a Fall/Christmas Stamp release! 

I stamped her on Kraft & left her as is & I placed her atop my tag coverd with a piece of my Eskimo Kisses Paper that I have had FOREVER! Probly one of my first BG paper packs!
 A bit of glitter to her wings & of course all my extras to the tag! 

The words 'peace, hope, joy' around the frame behind Kaylee are from a SU set.

The metal key is from a set I got at Micheals.

Woot Woot! Welcome Some Odd Girl  fans. Are you ready for the next releases in the new Fall/Christmas Collection? Today I have some BOY stuff for you to size up!
First on my list is Magician Toby. 
I chose to CASE a very talented artist & supa awesome cyber-boss Kristy, who has made this shape of cards in the past. When I saw one, I knew I simply had to try it & this little image worked perfectly for it! Of course I wouldn't be me if I didn't add all the extras like the wooden clothespin, white puffballs, a tag, some ribbon, a chipboard star and a foamy #4 !!
I gave this to my son for his birthday from his grandpa and when he opened the card he looked at the card and said "ooooooo mom is this from you". (PS- when your 4 yr old recognizes your cards.....is that a bad thing or a good thing? lol)

 Next we have Mad Hatter Kody.

Now I am not an Alice in Wonderland type of girl. I saw the Johnny Depp Version (which I thought was very , very kool & Johnny Depp is SO HAWT)....but aside from that, it does not interest me that much. HOWEVER, when I saw these images I IMMEDIATELY had to have Kody. I always go for the boy images....Geesh! I think I should tap into my "inner-oh-la-la" & get me some frilly girly images done hey!!??

I ripped one of my daughter's UNO cards & placed it on my card. The rest of the papers are from my Tim Holtz paper pack. The words stamped on the tag die cut are from my JUSTWORDZ everyday sentiment set!

Happy Birthday My Love!

Well, well, well, it's my hubby's birthday today. 

We are off to the city tomorrow for some shopping & dinner to celebrate. 

For now he has to enjoy my son's leftover cake! LOL (I'm a horrible wife I know), at least he doesn't know where his present is......I actually had to package it in a leftover diaper box, it's so darned huge! 

Anywho, I wanted to show you a card I made for him with a Saturated Canary Digi. She is called Hollywood & I thought my hubby deserved to look at another sexy lady besides me all the time!! LMAO! 

I added frosted lace stickles to her stockings & gloves. As well as some other stickles sporadically surrounding her body (see pic below). All my flowers are misc mix & match. Brown ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbons and rose ribbon is from my fairy friend Suzi! Mwah....ty! I used my liquid pearls in the corners of the image square. 

This sentiment is  from my JUSTWORDZ stamps set.

I went with the pinks & browns (with a side of cream) @   Die Cut Dreams & Karen's Doodles of which brown happens to be my fave color of all time to meet the Stamp, Scrap & Doodle challenge. & used the awesome sketch from Challenge up your Life (see below)

Stop & smell the flowers

Boy oh boy, what a party.  I'll have to post some pics later, I think my son had a good time! 

I have another SOGGY to show you today.  This is one of the clear stamp sets I got when I first started my term with SOG. Meet Smell the Flowers Tia . Isn't she cute! I LURVE HER! She comes with this perfect lil sentiment.

I used some papers that I've had for a while now, but never actually got around to using. They are from a prima paper pack called Melody. I think they matched her perfectly. The leafy flourishes I got from Dora...I covered them with stickles. Roses are WOC.

OH And see these "pearls".....they are actually liquid pearls. Ranger liquid pearls to be exact. I know my friend Kellie was wondering if they were a valid purchase or not. Honestly I don't use them very often, but when I do, I really like how they look.

Friday AGAIN! When did that happen?! Where are the weeks going!??! 

As you read this I am probly at the local movie store having my son's 4th birthday party. They have a side room that is big enough to blow up a bouncer for the kids, as well as some other fun things to play with like a basketball hoop, hopscotch area, kareoke machine & air hockey table. An hour in there then off to the mini theatre to watch a movie and eat hot dogs, chips and cake! HOW FUN!  I'll try to remember to take some pics.

I am pulling a two-fer again and mixing my FFF card with my  JUST WORDZ inspiration where we are talking about  LOVE this week. 

This image is Policewoman Gillian. She has a partner policeman Lewis, but he's not on my card today. Today is just Gilly. Isn't she totally ruthless, handing over that ticket full of LOVE!! Yup those JUSTWORDZ stamps are such a size that they fit perfectly on Gilly's ticket !  OH Vey!! lol

I have chosen to use Lil Christmas Lolita Ivy, one of the 2011 new releases for the Christmas season. I love her in these colors. I used the lace & PP combo as well as the chipboard & distressing combo. 

 I immediately knew she had to go on a circle shaped card & I HAD to use this large lace from WOC (i think--a gift from my friend Trisha) . 

Isn't it funny how some things just 'come to you'. The silver ribbon leaves are from Really Reasonable Ribbons  & the sentiment is from SU. I added some tight stitching around the entire outside circle as well. Pretty CAS for me!
