Some Odd Girl & some fish..................

For those of you that have asked (per previous post of Momma fish having babies)...........here is a picture to show you how we are surviving over here!!!
Adult fish (big tank) and baby fish (little tank). You can't really tell, but there are about 20 little guys swimming around in the little tank! I'll keep you posted with pics & updates as they grow and mature!

So about my cards................
I was blog hopping the other day & came across this FAB sketch at the Some Odd Girl Challenge Blog via Raindrop Echo's blog. I had to check it out, as I was itching to make a card & needed a starting point.
Fell in love with the sketch, as well as with the freebie they were offering (which is what you see below).
The image is 'Hang 10 Kody'. I knew I just had to make something fun.
Alot of HAD TO's hey?!??!?!? haha.

I placed a stone charm in the corner because isn't that what all the surfer people wear around their necks!?!
I also used my NEW inverted scallop square nestability to outline the image, as it kinda resembles waves AND I popped the image up!! Look at my little surfer!!!!

Turns out.............I won the #20 challenge over at Pile It On & the prize is some images from Some Odd Girl, so now I can go & fall in love with more of their fantabulously-rad images!! Thank you!
Woo Hoo!

Challenges for my card:
Cute Card Thursday- orange, black & blue
The Treehouse Challenge- beach vacation
Paper Sundaes-Summer fun

*****************************************

But do u think I could stop there?!?! NO WAY. I had to use this same sketch for yet another card.
For this card I used the image 'Summershades' from Stitchy Bear. I chose this image after winning a challenge a while back! I just love her. I think she is so sweet & innocent looking.  lol

Here I used my other NEW nestability to shape my girl! And I used my recently acquired "Bow Easy" tool  (from Really Reasonable Ribbons) to make a triple loop bow with my satiny blue ribbon!
I attached my block letters with crystal effects and added a bit of bling and border punch for fun!!
I hope you like her as much as I do!

Challenges for my card:
Pink Elephant- gotta wear shades
Our Creative Corner- summer inspiration
