Who reads these things anyways?

So I was over at The Stamping Vacation today viewing the latest post by Denise which asked "How did you get started stamping" and I got to thinking......................hmmmmmmmmmmm..........

This is my story:
I was at a girlfriends baby shower & I noticed a hand made Guest Registry book there. I loved it. I asked where she got it & she said her aunt made it. We were at THAT particular aunts' house so I asked her about it, took her number & she got me involved with Creative Memories Scrapbooking. I DID NOT KNOW what Scrapbooking was all about. I know DUH......right.......Following someone elses ideas was not my idea of creativity!!!! Well, after looking at my BFFs (Prairie Fairy) scrapbooking stuffs, I realized that would be some real FUN!
The rest is history. From scrapbooking to card making, from stampin up to CTMH to digital! I'm hooked!

What's your story.......do tell.........

And spread the word, encouraging people to share their stories so we can all have a look at how far we've come.
PS- link back to me (if I've encouraged you at all)- so I can reach 100 ...101 followers in order to give away some delicious candy! I' m just chomping at the bit to give something away, I just need a reason!

My card post for today is for Father's Day.
The image is from Prairie Fairy Designs & is called Lazy Boxer Beary. I made my own sentiments on the computer. Something I thought would be suitable for hubby as he has been working his little butt off lately!
I colored his blanket, shorts & slippers with my red & blue distress inks (the only 2 distress colors I own).....something I have NEVER done before. I used my blender pens to carry the color over the image. Didn't turn out too bad.

Challenges for my card:
Tellen's Place- fathers' day
Stamping Vacation- Color word search (red/white/blue)
The Crazy Challenge- distress it
Pink Elephant- red/scallops/bow
Cards for men- fathers' day
Dare U 2 Digi stamp- red/white/blue
Pile it On- quirky

Have a great day!
