My Chocolate Tilda

O GEEZ...........I've gone & done it!
I made a chocolate Tilda card for the Totally Tilda Challenge happening all month long!
Why 'oh Geez'?
Because me and Tilda's face just don't get along. Never have. Probly never will.
However after some quick (& I mean QUICK) tutoring from some great crafting mentors, I think Tildas' face & my coloring pencils may have found a 'truce' (white flag has been hung by both of us-lol

Thanks to Susie Sugar for the Tilda toppers I won at her Sassy Designs by Susie at  Die Cut Dreams blog for being a 'super dooper commenter' (haha-where did that go, hey Susie--I went hard for 4 days, then fell off the planet-lol), I was able to enter this cutie -patootie into her new challenge.

Sketch is MoJo Monday & the strip of paper on the side is BG Capella paper.
I cuttle bug embossed the deep chocolate paper behind Tilda & distressed the oval shape (done by my trusty CM shape cutters & blades). Got out the sewing machine & went to town stitching my little heart away.

Below is a pic I took near a window. Sun was going down & I NEEDED to get this shot off! lol
You can see the stickles I added to Tilda's flower.

And I DO have a funny little story about this charm frame in the last pic (look familiar Lori?).

So there I was the other day, trying my hardest to emboss a paper with a Spellbinder Impressabilities embossing design (FYI-they are metal.) When I say trying my hardest, I mean trying my HARDEST! I put in the the thickest plates possible & when the darn cuttlebug wouldn't turn anymore & the CB plates were bending (probly not supposed to happen-lol), I figured "ok, that's probly enough". I took out the metal impressablitie design & it had come apart from it's frame.
HAHA...I squeezed it so tight in my CB machine, it ripped the design off of the border, so now the design plate bends & is not sturdy enough to emboss anything straight EVER again, so I decided I am going to use pieces of it on my cards.
So here we have an itty-bitty flower placed in my itty-bitty charm frame.
I put some stickles in the center of the itty-bitty flower for effect!

Here's to hoping I can be a GDT at Totally Tilda!!!

Challenges for my card:

Totally Tilda Challenge- Chocolate Tilda
MoJo Monday- sketch
Pink Elephant- 3 layers, 2 die cuts & ribbon
Crafty Catz- distressing
Paper Sundaes- white plus one (white & shades of brown)

Cute story, Corry. Glad to hear those things happen to other people too. I managed to cut into the molded plastic on the side of my cuttlebug with a folder, and bent the folder too. Who knew you could do that? LOL

Beautiful card.
