Stamping Vacation- Homemade with a HOP! BLOG HOP!!!!

Welcome to your 6th stop of 11 on Stamping Vacation's first blog hop:
If you came here from Danielles blog, then you are on the right track, if you've come here by mistake or good fortune AND want to participate in the hop, return to the Stamping Vacation Blog and start there!!!

Homemade with a HOP!

You guessed it, we will be featuring different homemade embellishments for paper crafting and we have a long list of incredible prizes available to be won on every single blog!
PLUS, one grand prize winner will receive a gift certificate to the place of  his/her choice for
$5-$50 depending on how many blogs they've commented on!

First of all, a bit of housekeeping rulz:
-This blog hop starts September 25th at 9 a.m. & ends September 26th at 9 p.m. (US Central time)
-If you want the GRAND PRIZE to be $50.00, it's up to you to comment on each blog along the way.
-You must be a follower of Stamping Vacation in order to win any of the prizes being offered..
-If you wanna WIN anything here (or the Grand Prize) you must leave a comment!
-Wanna know who's offering what, along the way [& if you get lost].....see the list below

Phew, so whaddya say, let's get to it.
At my blog we have prizes offered by Susie Sugar at Die Cut Dreams

She is giving a 40 piece die cut sentiment topper kit.
(there are more sentiments in prize pack than shown here)

And Prairie Fairy Designs is offering up 5 images to the winna!

For my creation, I have chosen to hightlight both of these fine sponsors. with a die cut shape from Mrs. Sugar's Die Cut Dreams store and an image by the Prairie Fairy herself.

Meet Geisha Gillian. I know, I know, Geisha's don't wear that much rouge, but hey, Gillian is not your average Geisha you know. She is somethin' special!
This was one of the cards I started making & thought of throwing it out on numerous occassions, then at the end of the day, I actually love how it turned out!

My homemade embellishements are the buttons you see here. Yes, they are ALL homemade.
I cheated & used the tutorial from this link to aid in my quest for homemade buttons!
(I couldn't have thought of this on my own, now could I have?!?! lol)

You can do it too, very easy,  very simple & the great part is that you can make them to match any project by using the same DP & even different punches! Wonderful.

I guess I could add the homemade embellishement of "chopsticks" recycled from a couple toothpicks. Unused of course. hee hee.

Oh and yes, Giesha Gillian comes with a floral arrangement in her hair that I have swaped for some WOC flowers. I think they look ok there!

I decoupaged her fan & apologize for the smeary look, but for some reason my digi smeared when I went to color her. This has never happened before & am gonna have to talk to DH to see 'what he's done now' LOL!

If your still here, reading this, god bless you.......I'da given up by now!! lol

Your next hop will be over to Karen's blog! Tell her I say hi when you get there.
