WWWooooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeeee! I am currently recovering fom working 4 night shifts in a row! Man can they screw a person up!! I slept so hard last night, that this morning when my 3 yr hopped into our bed at 7 am this morning to wake us up, I THOUGHT it was my 1 yr old who crawled out of his crib!
Phew! On the up side, I came home at 7:45 am May 8 (Mother's Day here in Canada) to a freshly made breaky of bacon & eggs as well as hugs, kisses and gifts from the family, including a new Scooby Doo Scrub set, a pair of jammies, flowers, homemade preschool projects & a new craft knife.
Oh, my hubby knows me so well!
Happy Belated Mother's day to all of you, as well!
One good thing about my night shifts is that I get a chance to snoop around blogland a bit! Thanks to all of you for all your great inspiration...I just loving looking at everyone work!
I have a creation for you today, that I made for one of my co-workers who's......yup you guessed it.....havin' a baby! I wanted it done for Mothers' Day but I kinda missed the boat on that one.
Anywho I recently purchased this digi from Some Odd Girl. It's one of their many new digi releases (& if you haven't heard they are also selling clear rubba stamps too-Yipee!! ). This is Momma Mae.
I knew I wanted to make a doorhanger (which I got from the Die Cut Dreams Store), & the first thing I thought of was paper piecing her outfit in green tones. I am happy with the color scheme, overall.
I stamped the word "cherish" with Staz-On ink onto the butterfly mirror, which you can't really see on this pic.
The layers of flowers are misc as is the little footprints charm.
The pink satin ribbon is recycled from one of those bathroom packs (that come with lotion, scrub etc). It was wrapped so nicely...........I just had to save the ribbon! & the purple textured ribbon is from my blogger friend Dora! (See I told you I'd get to use your goodies eventually!! lol)
Thanks for popping in today!
