It's official. I am an honorary fairy for Prairie Fairy Designs- soon to be launched Digital Stamp Collection ! I am so excited for my BFF for putting her whole heart and soul into this. Finally her talents will be recognized by thousands! When she is not busy concentrating on her designs, she is painting gorgeous pictures on paper/canvas/walls, performing carpentry, installing bathroom fixtures, rearranging her BFF's house, cutting hair in her in home salon, preparing home made meals for her family or selling Epicure and Partylite. If anyone deserves for her dreams to come true it is this independantly beautiful woman! Love you babe!! Can't wait to do more cards for ya!

Christmas Tags

So, I know that Christmas is over, but here are a few ideas for those of you who like to make your own nick/nacks. So many different things can be done with stamp sets, it really is amazing. I made these for a lady who 'ordered' them from me. She was pleased with the result! I think I am going to do this for next year, but am going to have to start TODAY!! haha.
All of these were made with Stampin' Up stamp sets. Now that I have some CTMH sets, I will have quite the variety going on!
Hope everyone has a great New Year!

Two more Christmas cards for your perusal! Both the sets are from Stampin' Up. They were both fun to color. The Crab card is a shaker card. Took alot of time and patience for someone who is not creativily inclined at all!! haha! Papers a mix of miscellaneous & Stampin' Up. Sponging was used and embellisments include ribbon, brads, eyelets and wire!
It is Christmas Eve and I am going to make cookies now! Hope you all have a Wonderful Holiday SEason!!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...................

Ahhh..........the simplicity of it all. Call me crazy for getting in the spirit, but for the first time in my life myself and some fellow friends and co-workers are going Christmas Carolling on December 23!! Should be both fun and interesting! Perhaps we will sing "O Christmas Tree". This card was inspired again, by the Magic Snowflake technique from SplitCoastStampers.com. The tree stamp is from Stampin' Up. Paper & ribbon from CTMH & embellishments could be from just about anywhere!! I added a bit of glitter to the centers of some of the swirls on the tree!! Hope this gets you in the spirit to share some holiday joy !!

So this is Christmas..............................................

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!! 6 more days!!
Here are a couple of my creations.
Once again the elf set is from CTMH, I just decided to go with 'not so traditional colors'. I liked the way it turned out! The backgroud purple color is from a set of 'homemade papers' I purchased at a store in the city. It is fabric-like! Worked very well with this card. Organdy ribbon is from CTMH.
The other cards are made using the "Magic Snowflake" technique I picked up off of Splitcoaststampers. They have alot of great techniques there! You need ink refills, rubbing alcohol, cotton balls, white embossing powder and a heat tool...............the magic touch is glossy cardstock! NOT PHOTO PAPER! The technique will not work with glossy photo paper, it HAS to be glossy card stock! Believe me, I've tried numerous times to make it work!
Hope you are having a great time shopping and prepping for Christmas!

Christmas Cards

Here are just a couple of examples of some Christmas Cards I did this year. The stamps are from CTMH as are some of the papers. Green Organdy ribbon is from CTMH as well. Little labels are made with cuttlebug templates! Here's to hoping Santa is watching so I can get a Cuttlebug machine of my VERY OWN this year, rather than having to run to the Fairy's house to use hers!

LOST!

No I am not lost! Thought maybe I was losing my mind (since June), however I recently have found it, and will try to be more active with my blog activity. Hopefully posting once a week.

We'll see though considering I am expecting child #3 in February! Yes, that has been occupying most of my brain (baby brain- as it is so eloquently called). Busy with preparations for Christmas, as of late, preparations for baby, since the finding out of same on Father's day, and preparations for a 1 year of maternity leave! Oh the joy of it all.

I have also been praparing for the launch of my best friends/neighbors/delivery coachs' website PrairieFairy Designs (digitally stamped images). Although I have been as loyal to her as I have been to my very own website, this is the primary reason I hope to get on track. She deserves my support & commitment; & I intend to give it to her, as much as I possibly can! Sorry Bert!!

So stay tuned for a new & improved FancyFree4ever blogspot!!
