Crafty Cardmakers DT- color/photo inspiration challenge (second post today)

Looks interesting doesn't it?
Looks like you'd want to take a crack at this sweet photo hey?
Why not. .......you have nothing to lose, only something to gain.

Over at Crafty Cardmakers for the next two weeks we are asking you to interpret this photo!
You can do it! I know you can! And you can blame Judie for picking it!

For this first week you will be seeing the inspiring creations of half of the DT members.

The following Monday (next week) the remainter of the DT will be doing a SPOTLIGHT technique. We may cover a style, technique, product, something specific based on the inspiration photo as well.
SO......you may choose to do that too or have a go at just the spotlight.

***For example next weeks spotlight will be on easel cards, the team have based their easels on the photo inspiraton challenge. You may choose to do this too in which case you can enter your easel into both weeks or you can enter any other easel into the spotlight only. You will also have 2 weeks to enter this until the next spotlight.***

Clear as mud right?!!?

I have chosen an image from Prairie Fairy Designs called "Daisy Fairy".
Isn't she 'sweet' ?
I printed her twice & pop-dotted her for a 3D look (better pics below).
I colored her softly like the 'sweethearts' in the photo & added some pastel pre-cut shaped cardstock=hearts & tag.  I tried my darndest to match the greens thruout my card. I think I did a pretty 'sweet' job.
I embossed with my cuttlebug, added some bling to her wings & to the flowers & added a touch of lace ribbon.

I finished the inside when I realized my next door neighbors' hubby needed a card for his wife for their anniversary. Together for 14 yrs. Now if that, or this card, does not leave a bit of 'sweetness' in your thoughts, then I don't know what will!

Please come play with us at Crafty Cardmakers & show the DT how much you love them with a few 'sweet ' comments of your own for a chance to win a gift certificate from.........

Love the colours on this card and the twinkle on your fairy wings. Such a lovely sentiment for the inside and how lovely of you to give it to your neighbour. He is lucky to have such a thoughtful card maker so close by.

Love your yummy yellow flowers, they are so summery and bright.

Great to have you on the team :)

Love

Mandy

Really pretty, Corry. BUT you've confused me - I thought the easel card in the spotlight had to incorporate the photo challenge, to? Oh lor - will have to get my facts right, lol. Love your work.
