Fairy Fun Friday DT- It's in the Fine Print

WOO HOO WAY to rock out those SWEETHEART creations at Fairy Fun Friday last week!!

YAHOO!!

Now for the next two weeks at  Fairy Fun Friday we have a little something different for you to challenge yourself with. The challenge is called:

IN THE FINE PRINT

We are not necessarily looking for a sentiment on your cards, rather we want to see what your card says with what the background paper & materials say. What is the message you are trying to get across with the words hanging around on your card?

I have chosen the image called Pokin' Puddles from Prairie Fairy Designs.

The paper in the background is from a Tim Holtz paper pack & as you can see from the above picture, on the very top of my card the 'fine print' says MEMORY. I have placed a frosted heart in the frame at the top of the card as well & the ribbon made into a bow at the bottom says REMEMBER  on it! OMG I have had this ribbon FOREVA!!

I adhered some sticker buttons & 3 diff types of ribbon, including my beloved raffia!  I finished things off with some distressing & sponging.

As always I colored with watercolor pencils (copics for skin).

Oh yes, I also added crystal effects to the water, to appear more lifelike.

I will be giving this card to my brother, his wife & my 2 nephews as they recently had to put their dog down (after 14 yrs). They live in the city about 1.5 hrs away, but have a cabin, with a waterfront lot, nearby to us; & I can totally see one of my nephews longingly playing in the water, remembering their cherished pet, Rousseau. :-(
