Some Odd INSPIRING

YIKES!! IS everyone still recovering from the awesome new release with the Nouveaus Girls or what!?!?
And what about these new blogs right!?!?!
(((**DID YOU REMEMBER to unfollow the NEW SOG blog then refollow after refreshing.....to make sure you get dashboard updates?? ** I sure hope so )))

-------------------------
Well, the excitement continues  with a  new Some Odd Girl Challenge
We are showcasing some more great creations with the new Nouveau Girl stamps. We have an awesome inspiration photo to help you get crafty this week!

Another one of those, "don't let it scare you " type things. It really is a beautiful piece of art!

Here I have used Nouveau Girl Bliss now available at the Some Odd Girl Store. I made a center step card and tried to capture the colors and possible textures in the photo above. My Tim Holtz heart die was cut out of a cereal box, painted over with black crackle paint, then tattered rose crackle paint and sponged with ink. The wee butterflies come with the stamp set & I cut them all out seperately. The kraft piece behind Bliss I used a nestie on and them embossed with one of my folders.

From feathers to cheesecloth, to a doily & ribbon.....my creation came together perfectly! Below are some more specific details of my center step card.

We hope to see how this photo inspires you at the Some Odd Girl Challenge for the next two weeks.

This card will be placed in my following galleries:
{{Two Peas in a Bucket Gallery}}

Corry this is gorgeous! I have a question, how do you get your cards to stand up with so much embellishment? I find mine get front heavy.
