At Crafty Cardmakers for the next two weeks we want to see:
A CARD & MATCHING GIFT set!
Now , tell me, how creative can you get with this one.
A matching suitcase,
a matching explosion box,
a matching gift card holder.....
........whatever it is you chose, make sure it matches the card you make!!!
Luckily, I had mine already prepared a few months ago. NEVER BLOGGED! Don't fret, you didn't miss it!!
I made this set for a fellow blogger/friend/fairy for her birthday.
The image is Prairie Fairy Designs called "The Urge"....bwhaahaaa....the urge to what right?
ABOVE-
I used a salmony paper color with a darker base paper and used my SU border punch.
I cut a doily in half & slid it in underneath the image and my scallp punch to make the other scallopy looking half circle things that I then smothered in pearls!
I also added glitter to her robe & slippers as well as crystal effects to her glasses.
BELOW-
Scallop punch & pearls out the ying-yang again .....with a different image from the Prairie Fairy called "Gerry's Birthday set". It's a set of 3 images (a giraffe, a cake & presents). I snagged the presents & ran as fast as I could.
What I made here is a little "Peek-a-boo" box. I got the tutorial off of splitcoaststampers for another challenge & simply had to try it out!
The sentiment on the inside says
"Did someone turn the heat up in here....
.....or is it just the candles on your cake?" (badum-bum)
WOOHOO.
Can't wait to see what you create for our challenge this fortnight.
Don't forget if you use some dry embossing, you can also enter your creation into the spotlight challenge at Crafty Cardmakers with is being sponsored by the Prairie Fairy herself!!!
Challenges for my set:
Stamp with Fun- Square
Cute Card Thursday- anything goes
Stamp Insanity- oh scrap (Pink scallops are my scrap papers)
Paper Sundaes- toppings are punch & ribbon
Cupcake Inspirations- photo below
