First of all, I just have to give a shout out to an amazing blogger I found the other day whilst doing my usual daily snoop. Her name is Karita (from Finland). Her work is amazing & as I scrolled thru her blog, I fell more & more in love with her.....ok, maybe not her, but at least her work. Pls pop over & take a look for yourself. I am inspired.

Onto my creation for today.
At Crafty Cardmakers for the next two weeks we want to see your:
STITCHING -real or faux
This is my inspiration to you: A hAnglar stAnglar!
I don't make enough boy cards. So I decided to start making more & I even used some stitching on it. My hubby's sewing machine (yes I said hubby's- it's seriously his, but I have taken it over) does all these different sewing designs (& letters & such) so I added a fancy little 'X' design along both sides, with a straight sewn line down the other 2 sides.
Image is a hAnglar-stAnglar & I love them because they have little faux stitching marks all over their clothes (click image for larger/closer view).
I also am in love with this image, as it reminds me of my son who taught himself how to ride his bike (he's 3). He's still my little monkey, thus the monkey clip on top.
I used my long lost chalks to create a faux sky & faux road by using a Q-tip to spread the chalk around. I also freehand faux stitched around the sentiment.

All papers are BG. I used my nestie to die cut the shape around my little man & I used my SU tag punch X2 to fit my sticker sentiment.
More shapes on the inside as you can see here.
Sketch is Midnight Madness - fancy one.
DON"T FORGET- At Crafty Cardmakers we also have our spotlight challenge still on for another week. The spotlight is DIGI-PLUS--where you need to do more than just print & color your image. You need to merge your images, make your own paper, make jewelry with your images and so forth....so why not combine this stitching challenge with our spotlight challenge and get your hands in both of the pots!!!
Other Challenges for my card:
Lovely hAnglar Only- punched out
Cards for men- anything goes
Crafty Sentiments- make a male project
Simon Says- Punch em
A Spoon Full of Sugar- let's get punchy
Paper Sundaes- for the boys
The Crafty Pad- stitching real or faux
