At Stamping Vacation for the next month, the "TO WHO" challenge is :
SOMEONE WHO NEEDS A PRAYER.
If there is one thing I don't have enough of it's get well/sympathy cards!
I used a stamp from Marks Finest Papers.
They are sponsoring Stamping Vacation this month so head on over & check out their stuff in case you are the lucky winner!
The sentiment is SU.
Raffia Ribbon is from Bunny Zoes Crafts.
I tried to mimick Kraft paper (since I don't own any) by using some brown packing paper and scrunching it up numerous times.
I also rock & rolled the stamped image with two different colors of ink, pink & red, so although it looks like I fogot spots.....that's the look I was going for!
Head on over to the Stamping Vacation Blog for a chance at any of the challenges listed on the left hand side. They all last one month and we just started a fun new game called:
"Inspiration Tag" (on until Dec 5)
--where you take a couple elements off of Denise's card & create your own card, blog about it & link it to the above link, in order to get in on a $25.00 gift cert to a store of your choice. OH YA, don't forget to give credit to Denise for the elements you lift from her card to inspire yours!! Who knows someone may lift elements off your card and you've then inspired them to create a masterpiece.
Thus the name "Inspiration Tag"
Challenges for my card:
Charisma Cardz- sympathy
Dutch Dare- CAS
Daring Cardmakers- time to remember
Little Paper Shop- die cuts
A Spoon Full of Sugar- distressing
Paper Players- color challenge (see below)

Corry, lovely card. The textures are wonderful and your sponging on the nestie layer helps tie the elements together. I know whoever you choose to receive this card will love it.
Thanks for joining the Paper Players this week
