Halloween 2011 in Completion & holiday trauma!

Well, I must say I thouroughly enjoyed my holidays.....I still have photos to show, but that' ll just have to wait as this is a photo filled post already.

I do have a coupla stories to share however. On Friday me & my daughter Hannah went to the city for a girls day, dinner, shopping and a theater show "HAIRSPRAY"! We were so excited, until we got a blow out tire from a gigantic screw on the road! Damn. No dinner. We had to wait over an hour for a tow truck to arrive. Took a taxi to the show and picked up McDonalds on the way. So much for our Red Lobster planned dinner. On the upside, we DID get to go shopping at Walmart at midnight when hubby picked us up after the show! Phew, what a long day!

Then yesterday (Sunday) we went to the Quary (manmade water filled crystal clear lake) to go swimming. After a 15 min van ride & 10 min bike ride, we finally arrived at our destination....& after 20 mins of unloading, getting organized, watching the kids jump off the rocks into the water.....Hannah stepped on a piece of glass, thereby cutting our day short! It was off to the hospital we went where she got 6 stitches! My poor girl!

YIKES! I'm kinda glad I'm back to work today! lol

----------------------------------------------

Now that the August Tickled Pink Stamps new releases (Spinks &  Spooks-Lil Haunts 2 collection) are all done, I'm free to show you my complete PaperBag-Mini Album I made for my kids Halloween Pics (coming up this October).
I started this creation in my original post HERE but could not show you EVERYTHING for fear of giving you too many sneaky peekies of the new release!  So here we go;  with the top picture being the front cover of the mini-album & the second picture being the pages inside.

PS- Reminder that Digi Week is back at Tickled Pink Stamps (monthly from 15th-21st)

BELOW- is page #1 & #2 (close ups can be found here) featuring Zombie Kellita

The next two pictures are of the insert page I made. It is tucked into one of the paper bag openings. Two pages awaiting photos to be adhered!

This is a shot of the next two pages featuring Wizard Eric (close ups can be found HERE). My 3 yr old is planning on dressing up as a police officer (we got the costume already- what can I say I'm a PLANNER-haha)..........do u think his little picture will look ok here?!>!>

These are my next coupla pages with a purple, black & white theme feature Lil Little Lolita Lilith from the Lil Little Collection. Isnt's she priceless!!

Challenges for my Lolita Lilith page: (to follow)

Kaboodle Doodles- bag it or tag it
Craft your Passion- anything but a card
Paper Playtime- anything goes

This page is another insert I made & tucked into another paper bag opening, featuring Lil Haunts Frankie Frankenstein from the first Lil Haunts Collection.

I used my Tim Holtz picket fence die cut thru my cuttlebug & it worked like a charm! Then I painted it with tattered rose crackle paint & I attached it to the insert so I can just pull on the fence to take it out & attach a photo! Cool ya?

Challenges for my Frankie Frankenstein page: (to follow)

The Crazy Challenge- movies (Frankenstein)
Cards for Men- anything goes
AllSorts- anything but a card

Next are my pages featuring Mummie Christina  (close ups can be found HERE). Pay NO attention to the ruler in the picture, I used it to prop open my book.

And here are my last two pages featuring Vampire Lestat (close up pics can be seen HERE). As you can see in my bottom pic, the bouquet of flowers has lost a rosebud....or perhaps it just died off?

I did not do anything to the back cover. Perhaps I'll just let the kids doodle, write their names, or something of the sort! I am def. going to be making another paper bag mini album in the future!

YIKES, I still have holiday photos to show you, guess your just gonna have to wait!

This is absolutely fab-u-lous! So much detail.
Sorry about your holiday mishaps - my daughter had to go to hospital a couple of weeks ago - she got a huge thorn in the bottom of her foot which we could not remove ourselves - no stitches though thank goodness. I hope your daughter's foot heals very quickly.
Love, Andrea xx
