Autumn Tilda

Yet another stamped up image from my girl, Mrs. Susie Sugar (aka- Clairee) that I was dying to color up!

I tried coloring her face with some different copics this time. Darker than my norm, but kinda suits the paper just fine. Paper is from a paper pack called "Teen Prints"......very rustic, autumny feel for sure!

I distressed  the heck out of the papers with my new TIM HOLTZ distresser. I LOVE it, but wonder, do you push away from you or pull toward you, when distressing the edges?? Advice pls people!

 I used my hubbys handy-dandy sewing machine to add some depth & texture.

AND............

............used some of my NEW RAFFIA LACE !! OMG I have seen this stuff on so many creations, I just had to get my hands on some!! So I BOUGHT it, I bought it.....shh hhh don't tell hubby....pttfpt.....he knows already--- too late.

So what I have done here is stamped one of each sentiment from a SU set & distressed them accordingly, making the owner of this card the sole decision maker as to what the card is going to represent- then have extra sentiments to spare. I chose to put this specific sentiment on it, as to me, Autumn is WONDERFUL! Especially with our weathe being 25-30 degrees lately!!

And what would our lovely Tilda be without some glitter & gems!
