Whilst blog hopping the other day I noticed the challenge going on at Kenny K's Krafy Girlz Challenge Blog.

I hopped over, then hopped again to their store, where there is a GREAT special going on; that I just couldn't pass up, so  these 2 cards are the result of my 'impulse' buy!

My first card has the image Mrs. Clause on it.

Isn't she 'joyous'.....heehee!! (Gawd I wish I had boots like that! )

I colored her with watercolor pencils, blending stumps & baby oil with my SU markers highlighting the darker areas. I added liquid applique & glitter to the "fuzzy" parts of her outfit. I also added crystal effects to the santa sack and bells on her thigh.

Ticket is from Sentiments 4 You......where the very talented and lovely Lynn has candy to be won. The more followers her store gets, the more candy get's added!!!

At the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge the theme is Christmas, where, of course I am entering this little beauty.

I have used the sketch from Christmas Stampin' All Year Long & am also entering this card in the Die Cut Dreams Christmas Challenge where they have a recipe of 3 DP, 2 embellies & 1 colored image.

Other challenges I can enter my card in are: All Sorts (song inspiration- Santa Baby), Bah! Humbug (cuties), A Spoon Full of Sugar (winter wonderland), & Digital Tuesdays (sew special).

Now this second card is a little of a different nature. Imagine my surprise when my friend calls me the other morning & says "it's my husband's birthday today"...............woo hoo!! A par-TAY!! So I go and whip up this card! A cross between a birthday/halloween card. The sentiment portrays this as well! So take it for what you will ...........people DO dress like this for halloween you know!! lol
