August & September- fave things & a card!

(Quick note- I am gathering some stuffs for a few candy draws sometime before Christmas for my followers ONLY, so if you want to be in the running, you know what to do!)

I have seen people around blogland telling other blogger friends what their favorite things are/have been for the past month they've blogged. Do YOU find that you get comfy with one thing, do it for a while, then BOOM off to something else? I sure do. So here's my fave things for the months of August & Sept. I combined them!

{{I am putting a link at the bottom of my post for if you  wish to share your favorite things for the past month as well. I'd like to see what gets your motor running! }}

*****************************************

Jute Ribbon- I LURVE my Jute from Really Reasonable Ribbons. I like it ALL year round, not just these two months! When I'm looking for a ribbon, this is what I reach for!

X-press it Blending Card- I recently purchased some from Simon Says Stamp. OMG I love the feel of this stuff. It is so soft & smooth & silky & blends so well with my colored pencils as well as copics!

Tags- I made these plus MANY more this month. I just couldn't get enough of them!

Copics- I am slowly expanding my copic collection. See that area of monotone browns; that's what my color stash looks like with a couple pinks, blues & reds! LOL Pathetic I know. I go to OOZAK to buy my copics. Their prices are great and shipping is amazing. (I did have a picture here....where'd it go?)

Butterfly Shaped Chipboard Album- I got one similar to this (without the design) from a local craft store and am making a wall hanging for my daughters room. I have two sheets done already. Slow & steady with some of my fave stamp companies!

Simply Sassy  Stamps- YES! My name is Corry & I am addicted to SASSY stamps! LOL A new obession!! UH! how do these things happen/!?!?! haha I follow the Sassy DT blog closely and hope to one day be a header girl. I purchase all my SASSY's at Funky Kits.

Saturated Canary- Saturated Canary Digis- AHHHH!!! ANOTHER addiction! Krista Smith is the illustrator of these digis as well as the SASSY stamps. Easy to see why I am addicted to both now right? .............well try explaining it to my husband will ya! lol

And speaking of the Saturated Canary and Sassy Stamps..........
I made a creation for the Saturated Canary Challenge #1. It's a sketch with an optional theme of Halloween. Well, I got the sketch part down anyways. In fact I switched it up a bit by putting the image on the other side. Yikes, I know.....I tend to live on the wild side sometimes.
As per the SC rulz, you can use either a SC digi or a Simply Sassy Stamp & so I have used my Sassy Strike a Pose from Funky Kits
The ribbon is from my stash & I ruffled it up. The paper came looking just like that. Textured just like so. Neato hey? I rather like it. The wooden hearts (yes wooden, not chipboard)  are from a large package I bought at Dollaram. I brushed them with Tattered Rose crackle paint and sponged them with Vintage photo. The I stamped on them with my JUSTWORDZ everyday stamps.

Challenges for my card:
Fabulous Friday at Frosted Designs- use 4 off the  list (color yellow, chipboard, ribbon, ink {disressing the hearts & paper that the stamp is on})
Simon Says Stamp- sparkle & bling
Try it on Tuesdays- make it minimal
Sweet Stamps- anything goes
Papertake Weekly- anything goes
Saturated Canary- sketch (see below)
