Ribbon, Candy, Tickled Pink.....oy....

************************************************

FIRST let's talk ribbons

Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings is wanting to see how we store our ribbons & they are having a  huge giveaway for their ORGANIZATION WEEK!
Now I was not going to take pictures of my disorganized mess, but after reading Dora 's blog (you bad influence you) I thought, pffpt.....why not. Please don't hate me Bonnie, these pictures are really embarrasing cuz I know I should look after my ribbons better! Thus the need to WIN some organization tools! And after seeing the tip today, I am totally gonna buy a hat/jacket hanger & some clips & start getting my "sheer" together!! LOL

1 container........

2 containers........
3 containers........

......more...........

Now Let's Talk Candy----
------nope not mine (see top of my blog for that one)

Chelsea of Crafting Life's Pieces has Candy. Not just Yummy candy, but HOMEMADE yummy candy. Take a look at this gorgeous picture. OMG!

Thanks for the chance girl!

Now Let's Talk about Being Tickled Pink

I tell ya, one of these days I am gonna be so tickled pink, you guys are just gonna fall off your chairs with excitement. However, til that day comes, I am still TRYING my best to be Tickled Pink with their latest challenge of Black, white Plus One (I chose Red) & a GDT call! When I saw their challenge posted today, I had to get all over it & quick! lol
Here we have Cherrie with a Rose. She is one of the few Tickled Pink images I have & I love her to pieces! In fact so much so, that I paper pieced her shirt, pants & rose. Then I added some red stickles to the rose.
All the ribbons in the center are from Really Reasonable Ribbons & believe it or not they were all found in that mess ( of ribbon disorganization) at the top of my blog. The heart is a die cut from the Die Cut Dreams Store. The little metal pieces beneath the rose are from a spellbinder embossing plate that broke when I tried to emboss with it. So naturally I saved it to use as embellishments.

Then BAM!
Whoa, look at that, it's an easle card. A Twisted Easle to boot!
So fun to do, but note to self, twist it the other way next time, cuz see in the pic above, the little white piece sticking out of the left side (near the top.......) doh, it appears to be a backwards card, but when it's standing, it looks just fine! Phew!

I carried the metal over to the bottom. The white ribbon is silk that I got a dollarama & the black strip of sequins on the white ribbon is recycled from my daughter's headband that busted! Yay, for busted stuffs! LOL

I would also like to enter my easle into the following challenges:

Sentimental Sundays- pearls & lace
Fab'n'Funky- make it girly
Stamptacular Sundays- good luck, congrats, best wishes
Simon Says Stamp & Show- show us your metal
Sketch Saturday- sketch (see below)- I put the sentiment on the other side, hope that's ok?!?!

Adorable card and great use of busted headband stuff! I store my ribbon on a dress form that I got at Hobby Lobby. It's working well so far, although it doesn't even hold half of what I've got! LOL.

Oh Corry, I'm so ashamed of you keeping your ribbon stored like that! lolol (just kidding). I do see that you can use a little help in the ribbon organization area though. You gotta get it out where you can see it girl!
